A snack counter in the kitchen has become a rather essential element due to its practical applications. It is widely appreciated because it decorates with style, expands the work area and support surface, and carves a space for taking quick meals or for chatting to your guests. It can be:
- a lay-on snack counter resting on the island, peninsula or in-line worktop, where it delimits a separate area, often visually underlined by a different material to the one used for the underlying top; it is also called a suspended snack counter
- a snack counter with support, which, unlike the previous version, rests on both the top and on another support element
- a cantilever snack counter, equipped with a thick vertical side panel extending down to the ground and fitted with a horizontal shelf that functions as a worktop
- a snack counter integrated into the island or peninsula, creating a continuous surface with the top but leaving enough space underneath for chairs or for people to sit
- a sliding snack counter resting on the island or peninsula top that slides towards the front and side or by 45° and which, once open, allows for using the entire top and snack counter on multiple sides
We propose all these snack counters, some custom-sized in laminate, Fenix® or veneered, and others belonging to special solutions designed exclusively for Arredo3, such as the Arco and Tuttotondo collections, both characterised by soft and elegant lines and completed by matching supports. The Arco collection has two snack counters: one with a broad elongated oval shape, the other with a more compact drop shape and an optional support consisting of a parallelepiped with rounded ends. Tuttotondo snack counters can be square-shaped or rectangular with rounded corners and bevelled edges with wood finish; they can also have a round top available in two sizes, with the same finishes or even with a herringbone pattern or in Laminam. The supports of the collection have a T- or H-shaped structure consisting of a metal profile with a round cross-section.
