On 4th December, Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director for the Pantone Color Institute, named its colour for the year 2026. Its name is Cloud Dancer (Pantone 11-4201), and it is a soft ethereal shade of white, like billowing clouds with extremely natural, almost vanilla, undertones. In a nutshell, Cloud Dancer ushers in calmness, clarity and serenity, nurturing creativity that opens new avenues and leads to new ways of thinking, helping us get rid of all that is superfluous, fostering concentration and blocking out surrounding noise. A choice suggesting that we slow down to create space for new beginnings: a metaphor for a blank page to be filled with a gentle conscious spirit. A promising start to 2026!
