Maxxi units and Lateral doors without visible plinths - Arredo3
The elegance of doors extending down to the ground

Kitchens without plinths, or nonetheless without visible plinths, are becoming increasingly popular precisely for this stylistic detail, which lends them an elegant and modern character. Despite being a pivotal aspect of base units and tall units, plinths can be concealed behind doors extending down to the ground, for a refined finish.

To obtain this effect, Arredo3 proposes two solutions. The first option is Maxxi units, namely fronts for base units and tall units designed to cover the carcass all the way down to the ground. The second solution involves the use of Lateral doors, which are similar to Maxxi units but can also fit on wall units and include the side opening option. They are larger than the carcass on their left or right, so the excess portion functions as a grip when opening them. This element can also be used in combination with the LAB boiserie, which has a smaller depth, and with a vertical lighting system behind the door’s grip.

Maxxi units and Lateral doors are often used in the same composition since they are both compatible with the Kalì, Time (including the Time line and millerighe versions) and Asia (both smooth and millerighe) collections. Moreover, Maxxi units can also be used in the Glass 2.0, Kronos, Tekna (with smooth door) and Tratto_10 collections.
