FSC certification for woody material – Arredo3
Arredo3 obtains the FSC® certification

In our effort aimed at safeguarding the environmental heritage that also involves making a positive impact on sustainable growth, we have obtained the FSC® Chain of Custody certification (FSC-C200341). The FSC certification certifies Arredo3’s commitment in the use of panels made of wood or wood derivatives deriving from responsibly managed FSC®-certified forests, recycled materials and other controlled sources. The FSC certification standards are defined by the Forest Stewardship Council®, an international non-governmental organisation that has been promoting responsible forest management for over 30 years. This certification compels companies to be part of a responsible supply chain, in which products are made to strict standards aimed at protecting the world’s forests and respecting local communities, the rights of workers and the habitats of plant and animal species.

The FSC certification marks a further step forward in our quest to improve environmental performances and adds to the Indoor Hi-Quality certification obtained earlier this year. That came after – just to mention the initiatives completed in recent years – the ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification, the eco-sustainable solutions of the Gaia set-up, the co-marketing initiatives for sustainability, such as our Treedom forest, and the current programme for the refurbishment of buildings, through which we’ve already combined in a new and more liveable premises the executive department and some offices.
