Two contract projects were recently completed in South Korea: one for 770 kitchens in Daejeon, a city located in the heart of the country, and the other for 303 kitchens in Icheon, located further north.
In both cases we came up with different interpretations of the Time collection resulting in a range of bianco puro matt lacquered compositions. More specifically, our contract involved a lacquered kitchen mounting Retta handles, with the option of having wall units in the Asia coke millerighe veneered or fumé glass versions, for some additional refined touches.

It is important to note that in Korea houses are supplied already fitted with the kitchen, therefore different types of finishes and furnishings are also proposed depending on the suburb where they are located, the level of the building in which they’ll be installed and the type of flat inside the building itself, so the proposed solutions will evidently differ on the basis of the two-bedroom, three-bedroom or attic plan. Italian-made design is a decisive element that influences how the environment is perceived, as also highlighted by the testimonials – mostly famous Korean actors and comedians – chosen to promote the apartments relevant to these two contracts.
The projects are part of a long-standing continuous collaboration developed by Arredo3 to boost its penetration not only in South Korea, but in South-East Asia in general: Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore.
